Here's a brief description of the band members and how they came to be a part of The Emotikonz animated band!
Meet the Band!
Smiley is the lead singer of the band; he was one of the original five characters from the original animated band concept known as The Hoods in 2007. Eventually his character changed to one of quiet and subtle background with a knack for singing and on occasion rapping.

Myxa-Myx is not only the band's most recognizable member, but also the most mysterious as well; his known history before his addition to the band in 2011 is filled with holes and details yet to be explained. He wears a mask because of his struggle with both abandoment issues and a paranoia as a direct result of traumatic encounters with the Rogues and Gunning Balloons--the attack that landed him on the band's floating mansion on X-Island before it was destroyed. He has a habit and talent for mixing together different styles of beats in to Glomp's drumming, creating the unique style of The Emotikonz.

Heart is an all-around sweetheart--no pun intended--who is often quiet and kept to herself prior to joining the band in 2010. She often had a fear complex about meeting new people due to her inability to speak without stuttering, but after spending time with Smiley, she soon overcame the oddity and warmed up to the band. She hopefully will sing lead in a song someday, but for now masters an array of keyboard sounds and atmosphere, as well as Dubstep effects for The Emotikonz.

The nonchalant, highly-talented bassist and guitarist, Shrug is the laid-back member of the band. An original who first met up with Smiley at the Unamusement Park back in 2007, he was also derived from the original band concept known as The Hoods. He also plays an odd instrument from the orient which can be heard clearly in Tae-kwon-DUB, and without learning the original name, he eventually called it an acusticado. His original bass guitar is featured in the Mini-Riot Militia.

Glomp

Heart
Glomp is a flat-out loveable guy; he drums, he jokes, he cooks, and he loves to collect coins. He was alienated from others because of his obese stature, but Smiley and the rest of the band know from experience that there's no physical criteria for being able to seriously jam on a drum set. He's played on countless songs for the band and quickly became Myxa-Myx's first and closest friend in the group--even though Myxa never really speaks to anyone. Glomp has the coin on the unique beats of The Emotikonz before and after teaming up to play with them.

Rose is a fiery but well-versed electric guitarist who on some occasions will switch with Heart and play keyboards. Rose had a rough life due to her anger and fear of being rejected--a combination that at one time turned her into a bully. It wasn't until she realized that she had driven away all of the people she was afraid of losing in the first place, that she decided to give up her "tough girl" character and just be her happy, normal self. She also joined the band at the Unamusement Park in 2010.
